Educational Designer: Works collaboratively on a variety of projects with subject matter experts/faculty, media designers, animators, videographers, editors, and interactive designers to create all course elements. I consider a course to be a narrative of nested narratives where lessons, sections, pages, media elements, and student activities are nested within the overall course narrative. Applies appropriate learning and multimedia theory and principles to design of materials and learning events to ensure learning is maximized. Designs include effective pedagogical use of games, narratives, animations, simulations, interactive modules, video, graphics.
